Biocatalysts regularly
engage with research projects in Universities
from across the world including top flight British
Universities such as Nottingham.
Workplace students are regularly seconded to
our New Product Development team to build on their
skills and gain valuable experience of the commercial
enzyme world.
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are another area
that Biocatalysts get involved in. This scheme
enables us to facilitate the transition of a graduate
from post graduate education into industry. Project
based, the student is supported through the two
year experience with both a university and industrial
mentor.
Recent and upcoming partnerships with Universities include:
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships with the University of Bath and the University of Nottingham. These will enable Biocatalysts to exploit the up-to-date technical expertise of talented graduates whilst providing the graduates with an opportunity to build on and extend their knowledge whilst applying it to a commercial context.
Student Placements from the University of Cork and the University of the Basque Country. These students will be working closely with the scientists within Biocatalysts as they support the New Product Development team. This is an opportunity for them to enhance their work based skills and use what they have learnt in theory in a practical context." |
