What are the issues facing you as customers currently? For us we know that our best relationships with customers are those with very high levels of intimacy. These are the customers that, when they are contemplating a new project, put us on their project board/team as a key contributor or invite us to take part in Innovation days/events that they may be running. Doing joint projects with customers like these comes very naturally to us. However in these busy times, where everyone has pressing targets or objectives they are trying to meet, investing time in developing a relationship with a relatively small company can be low on the agenda, even if the benefits in the medium term would be huge.
We’ve tried to practice what we preach ourselves by involving a close supplier when we were developing our “exceeding enzyme expectations” strapline that embodied the organisational raison d’etre. His view on the company and what we stood for was refreshingly honest and constructive and reinforced our view that asking people outside the organisation what they think is vitally important in any good company, hence our commitment to our annual customer service survey carried out by Charter Solutions.
Here are some of the things that we do that you may not be aware of and may like to talk to us about;
-General or specific capability presentations to sales/NPD/other teams at your offices
-Joint new product development
-Contract Manufacturing of enzymes, from gene to large scale commercial production of fully stable end product
-Small look/see development projects for both commercial and academic institutions
-Attendance at Innovation events
-Providing speakers for key industry events
-Assistance with regulatory affairs or quality issues
-Direct access to our sector specific technical team who have immense knowledge of enzymes, both ours and our competitors
-Knowledgeable Sector Sales Managers who can help you to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of your processes
What’s your enzyme/process problem? Can we help?
