Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 dependent on experience plus shift allowance, bonus and substantial benefits

Hours: 08:30 – 16:30 during training period and then you will be required to work 4 x 11 hr shifts 07:00 –

We work with our customers, many of which are the top blue chip food companies, to provide unique enzyme solutions that will help them solve process problems, valorise waste, facilitate a biochemical reaction or deliver competitive advantage through using a unique product.

Due to our on-going commitment to expanding our technical capabilities, we are currently investing £5m in our enzyme production plant to ensure that we remain competitive in this market. Central to accelerating this growth is a newly created opportunity for a Shift Team Leader/Process Technician who will manage a small shift and be part of our highly motivated Operations Team.

Having an NVQ (L3) or BTEC in Process Manufacturing/Operations or Certificate in Process Technology or similar, ILM (L2) Team Leader or equivalent is essential along with experience in operating and maintenance of manufacturing within a technical environment. Ideally, you will have HNC/HND in Applied Science, Engineering or Chemical processing.

You will be someone who is customer focused with a desire to learn and develop into this role, is flexible, proactive with an ability to undertake problem solving and making decisions.
