This role demands a fast learner, with a strong work ethic and willingness to travel in the US on a regular basis and to the UK quarterly for sales meetings and training. You will be responsible for winning new business for new products in new markets and food applications.
Target driven and comfortable working within a structured environment; you will have excellent organisation and time management skills and will proactively progress and close sales opportunities. You will have a strong ability in asking the customer the right questions, listen to their needs and using Biocatalysts’ expert support team along with your own technical knowledge, you will understand and solve customers’ process problems.
You will present our capabilities with a passion and professionalism, build strong relationships with our customers, and the ability to make things happen will be second to none. This role will suit someone who is tenacious, has a positive attitude, enjoys talking to people in person and on the phone, and has a proven track record in winning new business.
Technical sales experience in food ingredients would be an advantage but a science or food technology degree is essential.
Reporting to the Commercial Director in the UK, you will be encouraged to develop your career and be part of a well established, successful and growing business.
