Do you have H&S accreditation?

We recently underwent H&S accreditation with the BSI group. We completed the assessment process and were awarded OHSAS18001 certification on 12 April 2011.

Do you have an EMS?

We are very environmentally aware and have just implemented an Environmental Management System. We aim to gain ISO14001 environmental accreditation by the end of Dec 2011.

Do you have HACCP?

Yes.

Do you have Investors in People?

We are Investors in People (Silver Award) recognised.

What is Biocatalysts' stance concerning safety and the environment?

We believe the safety of our workforce and visitors, and that of the environment, to be of the utmost importance. We are constantly striving for improvement in these fields, and great emphasis is placed upon both management and employees' responsibilities.

Do you have a (Environmental) Health & Safety Policy?

Yes, our Health & Safety Policy is endorsed by all managers within the company to ensure continual H&S improvement. It is also backed up by a Management directive that delegates specific H&S responsibilities.

What is your accident record?

It is very good; we have had no reportable accidents or incidents in recent years. We have six First Aid trained personnel on site.

What facilities do you have? Disabled access etc.

We have disabled parking, a lift and toilet facilities.
